13th Annual Run, Walk & Roll-Geneva 5K/ 1 mile

Area residents are invited to hit the pavement with purpose on Sunday, Oct.19, for the 13th Annual Run, Walk & Roll – Geneva 5K/1Mile event. This popular fundraising event for Marklund, a nonprofit organization in Geneva, Elgin and Bloomingdale that serves children and adults with profound developmental disabilities, is a unique, vibrant celebration of inclusivity, compassion and community spirit.

The deadline to order an event sweatshirt is Sept. 13, however, extras may be available for sale at the event registration tent on race day.
Set within the scenic backdrop the South Mill Creek neighborhood, the Run, Walk & Roll-Geneva kicks off at 8:30 a.m. at the Marklund Hyde Center, 1S450 Wyatt Dr, Geneva. After the race, participants are invited to gather for food, music and great company at the Party in the Park.
