Learn how diet, physical and mental exercise, and early intervention can influence the impact of memory loss during an educational program led by brain health expert Dr. Len Lecci at The Holmstad, a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities. The program is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2 p.m. Dr. Lecci is director of clinic services for MARS Memory Health Network and professor of psychology at University of North Carolina-Wilmington. He specializes in the assessment of memory and clinical disorders, and for the past eight years has been involved in a project to maximize the early detection of memory problems. Lecci has published extensively in the top journals in psychology and medicine, received grant funding from the National Science Foundation and Alzheimer?s North Carolina and briefed congress.
