Architectural Intern/Draftsperson

Seeking a self-motivated person to join our growing firm in historic Geneva, Illinois. Full-time intern/draftsperson position offering an excellent opportunity for a new architect or graduate to gain experience and develop in their career. Potential for some hybrid work. Our firm focuses on office, automotive, industrial, daycare, retail, and medical projects. We have done extensive work in the Fox Valley area for over 20 years and are licensed and work in several states throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting of schematic design and construction documents.
• Assist in architectural renderings and presentation drawings.
• Assist in material and product research.
• Assist with other architectural administrative duties.

Skills

• Bachelors degree in Architecture required.
• Masters degree in Architecture is a bonus.
• Strong REVIT skills are a must!
• Good understanding of architectural building systems and materials.
• Knowledgeable in construction techniques, building codes and sustainable practices.
• Strong computer and communication skills; work ethic is important
