Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time reliable, in-office, Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining clients' financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounting
- Utilize financial software to record and process transactions
- Assist in budgeting and financial reporting
- Work with accounting software such as QBD & QBO and other similar platforms
- Support corporate accounting functions
- Payroll Set-up, Payroll processing & other payroll related services
Skills
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation and general ledger accounting
- Experience with account reconciliation and accounts payable processes
- Proficiency with accounting software like Intuit QuickBooks Online & QB Desktop
- Ability to assist in budgeting tasks
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices
Qualifications
- Must have at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles
- Demonstrated experience in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial concepts
- Tax experience is highly preferred
