Silhouette Portraits by Cassidy

We’re thrilled to share that Cassidy Alexander will be joining us at Scout & Gem during the Geneva Christmas Walk for a truly special experience — live silhouette portraits!
 

Few people realize just how much artistry and detail goes into a beautifully crafted silhouette. Cassidy creates each one the traditional way: cutting directly from life using only folded paper and scissors — no preliminary drawing, no shadow tracing, and no digital manipulation.
 

Each silhouette is hand-cut and mounted with special glue onto a 5" x 7" card or oval, ready to be framed or saved as a keepsake for generations. Original silhouettes are $33, with duplicate cuts made at the same time for just $15 — perfect for gifting to grandparents or other loved ones. Cassidy will also have her signature solid wood black oval frames from Italy, finished with gold leaf trim, available for $32. (Please note: no double silhouettes.) And yes — she can even cut dogs!
