Our March "Chance-for-Charity" will be Fox Valley Food for Health. Our vision is to build a caring network that provides nurturing, healthy meals to patients and their families struggling with the challenges of serious illness. Providing teens with the opportunity to give back to their community and learn how to grow and cook healthy meals in the process. Leveraging the skills and interest of talented adults to teach and mentor the teens about life skills that will endure—cooking, caring, nutrition, and giving. www.foxvalleyfoodforhealth.org
Menu: Buffet of fried chicken, pulled pork, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, tossed salad and dessert of cookies and brownies.
