DESCRIPTION:The Silver Cup is awarded to the national playoff champion of the NA3HL. The Championship Trophy was renamed the Silver Cup in Spring of 2012. Previous to that\, it was known as the Hurster Cup. Now in its third season\, the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL)\, one of six USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior leagues\, serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching\, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification. The winner of the Silver Cup receives a bid to compete in the USA Hockey Tier III junior hockey National Championship Tournament.
