DESCRIPTION:48th Annual Fox Valley Folk & Storytelling Festival\n\nWheeler Park\n\n\nSunday\, September 1st & Monday\, September 2nd\, 2024\n\n\nMinimum Suggested Admission or Free Will Donation\n\n11:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. each day with additional evening events on Sunday Sept 1st\, 2024\n\n \n\nFor nearly 50 years\, the Fox Valley Folklore Society\, has been bringing local\, national\, and international talent to the Western Suburbs and this years Festival promises the same!!  Bask in the glory of the last summer holiday weekend listening to live music with 15 Featured Performers and other musical artists. Six stages run continuously\, with choices of mini-concerts\, storytelling\, and topical & hands-on workshops\, as well as a Kids Zone with music and craft activities that is co-sponsored with American Science and Surplus. Stroll through an Arts area and updated Children's Tent or bring your instrument to play along.  Twirl at the old-fashioned Barn Dance then thrill to some spine-tingling tales as the crickets and train whistles blow through the dark. Join us on Labor Day Sunday and Monday for a weekend full of fun for the whole family!  Sponsored by the Fox Valley Folklore Society and the Geneva Park District.
