Marketing Assistant

Job Description
Seeking a Marketing Assistant who, utilizing his/her specific skill set, can write promotional copy, monitor and participate in social media to assist in the promotion of local clients and, potentially, update designed electronic ads. This position requires a high level of communication and organization skills, meeting deadlines, takes initiative and provides the opportunity for personalization according to an applicant’s specific strengths, interests and passions. Great opportunity to gain broad experience in all aspects of electronic marketing while shaping the company’s everyday operations to make a lasting impact. Majority of work will be completed remotely.

Based on skills and work experience.

8 – 15 hours per week  
Must be availability for daily work M – F, with flexibility.  (4 days min. required) Most work will be completed during daytime hours, but some could be completed in evenings to meet deadlines.

Some weeks require more hours than others. Flexible hours are available depending on the needs of the applicant.

  • Candidates bringing experience with Photoshop, InDesign or other graphic design software would be beneficial.
*Past experience in office administration, marketing, project management or marketing/design would be good candidates.

  • Write concise promotional copy for offers, coupons, events, job posting & more.
  • Monitor social media and websites.
  • Write social media messages.
  • Design image mobile messages. – if skilled.   Not mandatory.
  • Assist in special projects (strategy, social media and other future projects)
Headquarters in Geneva, Illinois. Majority of work will be completed remotely.
