Job Description
The Guest Service Manager, must possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities. The GSM directly supervises all front desk personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties. GSM works a regularly scheduled front desk shift and must be available to work any shift as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Thorough knowledge of Front Desk Procedures
  • Fully comprehend and operate all aspects of the Front Desk computer system
  • Ensures all Front Desk staff is properly trained
  • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments
  • Scheduling
  • Able to perform all duties of Guest Service agent
  • Be aware of all rates, packages, and promos currently underway
  • Follow up on all guest history, group block pick-up and cut off dates
  • Remain current on room rates, room availability and emergency procedures
  • Resolve guest complaints, concerns, etc.
  • Insure all management directions and guest special needs are properly noted
  • Attend weekly manager's meeting
  • Conducts monthly front desk staff meetings
  • Provide information and explain property amenities/marketing programs to guests
  • Provide courteous service to guests and be cordial to all team members
Requirements
  • Previous Choice experience preferred, but not required
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Ability to remain calm in all situations
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Previous Hotel experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 /hour
