Job Description
Survey Crew Chief applicant will work in a team environment to assist the PLS in the accomplishment of field and office duties. The applicant may operate as a one person crew utilizing GPS and/or Robotic Total stations, or as a member of a 2 person crew when needed. Field duties include utilizing proper survey equipment and procedures to acquire accurate field data for topographic, residential and boundary surveys, as-built, ALTA's and construction site layouts. Office duties include downloading field data, calculation of the boundary data, construction staking calculations, research to obtain record plats and deeds, assist in the preparation of Plat of Surveys and bid projects.
Job Requirements
-Vaild Driver's License REQUIRED

-Skills/Abilities prefered:
-Surveying-In-Training or CST Level I-II but not required.

-Profiency using GPS,(TOPCON) Robotic Total Stations (Trimble S5 and TOPCON QS Station)

-Must have experience and understanding of Construction Layout practices/procedures.
-good communication skills

-Ability to use/learn AutoCad 2008

-Must be able to keep clear, concise, legible, and complete field notes
-Minimum of 1 year experience and possess a good work ethic for further training
-Must follow Company Safety Guidelines and procedures
