Our January "Chance-for-Charity" will be the Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice. Fox Valley Hospice is a volunteer hospice that serves all people in need of hospice and bereavement services. Individuals are able to pursue curative, active treatment while receiving services and are not required to have a time expected prognosis. The care is tailored to the needs and wishes of patients, families and grieving individuals. The Fox Valley community supports the hospice through many activities, including donations and special events/fundraising. The hospice is dedicated to leaving a legacy of hope, love and caring to all who receive its services.
In addition to the Chance for Charity, we will also be collecting food items for the NIFB. Just because the holidays are over, the needs do not go away! Bring in a donation and receive a free raffle ticket!
Needed: cereal (whole grain preferred), canned chicken and tuna, peanut butter, pasta (whole grain preferred), rice, dried beans, canned fruits (in own juice preferred), canned vegetables, reduced-sodium soup, pasta sauce, and monetary donations always appreciated. (No glass containers, please.)
